Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory certifications include CCI Registry, RTR, RCIS, RCES, BLS, and ACLS.
  • BLS certification must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the 75-mile straight line radius rule for travel assignments.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successfully complete at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • Exhibit proficiency in operating imaging equipment within the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Orientation and Training

Orientation will occur during the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 hours, and will include EPIC training. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.

Job Requirements
  • Possess valid credentials and NM state licensing in relevant fields (RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiation Therapy).
Schedule Information
  • Work hours consist of 10-hour shifts.
  • On-call duties are required, including backup call responsibilities.
  • Shifts may vary based on departmental staffing needs.
  • Availability for on-call, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
  • Travelers may be required to float within the facility and to nearby locations.
  • Traveling pairs may not have synchronized schedules or shifts.
  • Floating requirements include assignments at Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital.
Additional Considerations
  • Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for travel positions.
  • State tax obligations will be managed through your agency and reflected in your invoicing.
  • All state taxes should be directed to the state of New Mexico.
