Job Overview

The Suser Restaurant Group, which includes Sparkies Kitchen & Bar, Stella's Table, and Union 212 Banquet Hall, is seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our guests' dining experience.

Role Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Food Service Coordinator is to ensure an outstanding dining experience by effectively managing and preparing both takeout and dine-in orders. This includes delivering food to guests and providing additional condiments as requested. The Coordinator will also maintain an organized system for tracking orders based on their entry time by servers, ensuring timely service during peak hours.

Key Duties:
  • Delivering food to tables while adhering to seating arrangements
  • Preparing takeout orders according to guest specifications
  • Ensuring that dishes meet guest requirements, including dietary restrictions
  • Facilitating communication between servers and kitchen staff
  • Offering condiments such as grated cheese and cracked pepper to guests
  • Maintaining an orderly expo area
  • Stocking kitchen plates as needed
  • Refilling condiment dispensers
  • Setting up and dismantling the expo station properly
  • Stocking to-go containers and bags
  • Assisting servers with table bussing and resetting as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Prior knowledge of food service regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools or equipment required for the role
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, or pulling heavy objects
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Skilled in prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
