Manager of Medical Imaging Operations

Established by a group of seasoned medical professionals, our mission is to provide high-quality and cost-effective diagnostic imaging services, including vascular and interventional procedures. We are committed to enhancing our reputation through exceptional patient care, supported by cutting-edge technology and the expertise of our highly qualified radiology team.

We are in search of a Site Manager who embodies punctuality, attention to detail, accountability, and a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will have substantial office management experience, although we are open to training individuals with a solid background in radiology, management, and customer service skills. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential. The Site Manager will oversee personnel and manage the daily operations and delivery of imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the facility.
  • Manage staff, directing all activities including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in the Site Manager telephone queue, addressing inquiries as needed.
  • Act as the primary liaison for referring physicians.
  • Ensure systematic organization and maintenance of all files.
  • Monitor staff schedules and investigate any irregularities in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained and evaluated.
  • Monitor urgent exams for timely completion.
  • Guarantee the highest level of care in accordance with company policies.
  • Serve as a patient service liaison to address and resolve concerns.
  • Provide accurate and timely information for reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with business development initiatives.
  • Be available for weekend work and flexible scheduling as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role.
  • Familiarity with radiology procedures and standards.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with providers and patients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of EHR and PACS systems.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Understanding of PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal guidelines.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include regular communication, standing, walking, and sitting. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
