Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in the Eastern Coastal Territory. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our premier product lines with established and new customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Perform best-in-class sales and service to consumers while demonstrating knowledge and enthusiasm for Blum products.
  • Strategic Product and Marketing Initiatives: Support and implement strategic product and marketing initiatives to drive sales and growth.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain regular contact with internal and external customers to cultivate strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Analysis: Monitor weekly and monthly sales, analyze monthly results to identify additional opportunities, concerns, competitive pressures, and communicate within the organization.
  • Product Training: Participate in on-the-job training with the support of management and Blum US to implement all acquired skills to better educate our customers and deliver results.
  • Customer Education: Initiate and provide product training and demonstrations to educate customers on our products and solutions.
  • Communication: Professionally communicate with all peers, customers, and management to ensure effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Market Analysis: Develop primary knowledge of the marketplace (users, applications, products, competition, and channels) to effectively analyze market potential and communicate competitor market data.
Requirements
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Be initiative-taking and a team player with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Judgment and Conflict Resolution: Demonstrate sound judgment and deal with conflict with diplomacy.
  • Continuous Learning: Maintain a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with others and work effectively in individual or group settings.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years sales equivalent work experience in sales, field sales, or customer service required.
  • Age and Driver's License: Must be at least 21 years of age or older and have a valid United States driver's license in your state of residence.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a variety of environments when meeting with customers and assessing product needs, and capable of lifting and transporting heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office proficient and possess solid analytical skills. CRM experience is a plus.
  • Travel: Overnight travel is required, but the frequency can vary.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the woodworking industry would be helpful but not required, and knowledge of the kitchen cabinet industry is a plus but not required.
  • Customer Service Focus: Ability to maintain a strong customer service focus and adjust one's behavior to deal effectively with other people.
