We are looking for an Assembly Operator I to join our team at our Fairview, NC facility. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading industrial technology company that creates innovative solutions for the aerospace industry. As an Assembly Operator I, you will be responsible for assembling and testing fiber optic components using automated machinery. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency in operating equipment such as microscopes and hand tools. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a safe and quality-conscious attitude. As a bonus, knowledge of SAP Manufacturing and ISO 9001 is preferred. The estimated salary for this position is $38,320 per year, based on your skills and qualifications.

Job Description
- Assemble and test fiber optic components using automated machinery
- Work closely with our team of experts to ensure the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers
- Maintain a safe and quality-conscious attitude while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports of production activity
- Meet productivity and quality standards set by management

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with manufacturing fiber cables preferred
- SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
