Job Title: Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join our team at a leading chemicals/manufacturing client in Freeport, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting controls troubleshooting and repair, electrical troubleshooting and repair, instrumentation troubleshooting and repairs, and analyzer troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Instill safety in others by being safety-minded and modeling good safety practices.
  • Conduct controls troubleshooting and repair, electrical troubleshooting and repair, instrumentation troubleshooting and repairs, and analyzer troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Support preventative maintenance and reliability programs for instrumentation on rotating and stationary equipment.
  • Support additional maintenance and operational issues as requested by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, and certification in Instrument Technology.
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation and analyzers.
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical, controls, and analyzers.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including holidays and weekends.
  • Overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, company safety policies/procedures.
