The Childbirth Educator maintains a strong knowledge base through clinical and educational activities, interfaces with hospital staff and community resources, and provides support to patients and families. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Nursing and a valid Ohio RN License. Certification as a Childbirth Educator is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of job-related experience is required, with 1 year of OB experience preferred. The Childbirth Educator is accountable for compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
