Intermediate Cost Analyst

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Intermediate Cost Analyst to support a complex weapon system for the Department of Defense.

The position offers a remote work arrangement with occasional on-site visits to Dahlgren, VA. The salary range is $115k-$140k per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing DoD business operations, including cost estimating, modeling, analysis, and data collection.
  • Develop and implement cost models, incorporating risk analysis and data normalization.
  • Coordinate with programs and functional areas to conduct statistical analysis and empirical studies using applicable databases.
  • Develop initial cost data collection plans and validation methods for earned value and contractor cost data reporting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing prioritized requirements lists and their justification.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) certification.
  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance.
  • BS/BA in a related field and 4+ years of applicable experience.
  • Experience utilizing ACEIT for cost analysis and conducting cost estimating and modeling, cost analysis, cost data analysis and collection, and affordability analysis supporting DoD programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
