Nursing Director

At Quality Talent Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services for our San Jose location.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure consistency and excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with the Area Clinical Director to establish and participate in program development and implementation.
- Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the clinical status of patients, ensuring coordination of patient care and quality of services.
- Ensure compliance with Nurse Practice Act and maintain awareness of third-party payer rules and regulations.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Current Nursing License.
- One year of management experience.
- Clinical experience of 3 to 4 years in the last 5 years as per state and/or federal laws and regulations, dependent on education level.
- Valid Driver License and Acceptable MVR.
- One to two years of pediatric/neonatal experience.
- One year of home care experience.
