Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and lead a team of skilled maintenance professionals in executing routine, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and manage maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Maintenance Planning: Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities in alignment with production requirements, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the effectiveness of maintenance operations, including equipment reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and supplier performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance to operating teams, troubleshooting equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor employees on best practices, safety procedures, and compliance with industry regulations, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance work performed, inventory, and equipment status to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status reports to maintenance management on the performance of the maintenance function, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience leading and managing maintenance teams, with a strong background in maintenance operations, process optimization, and technical support.
  • Skills: Advanced technical skills in areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and instrumentation, as well as strong knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, and inventory management.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, including conflict resolution, facilitation, change management, decision-making, empowerment, and delegation, with a proven ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts for complex process issues.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Planning and Organization: Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
