Job Description

As a School Psychologist for ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional success of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and developing targeted intervention plans.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to create personalized learning strategies and promote student achievement.
  • Providing counseling and guidance to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges, and helping them develop essential life skills.
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the special education process.

You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Connecticut.
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred, but not required.
  • A strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
