Public Health Nursing Specialist

Genesee County is seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team. As a Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health of individuals, families, and the community through teaching, counseling, and medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote health and prevent disease in the community
Provide medical care and counseling to individuals and families
Develop and implement health education programs
Collaborate with community groups and organizations to improve health outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate degree in Nursing
Registered as a nurse in the State of Michigan or possess a temporary permit pending final registration
Valid Michigan driver's license and a vehicle for use on County business
