Forklift Specialist – Snack Production


As a vital member of our manufacturing team, your responsibilities will include managing the storage of raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods, as well as overseeing inbound and outbound shipments and production inventory requirements.


Shift Details:
We emphasize work-life balance, health, and wellness, ensuring equal access to development resources and advancement opportunities.

Our Snack production system will feature:
12-hour shifts (rotating - refer to Shift Schedule below)

Day shift: 5:30 am to 6:00 pm

Night shift: 5:30 pm to 6:00 am

Shift Schedule: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off rotating schedule

Each work block alternates between day and night shifts

Schedule Benefits:
182 Scheduled Days Off Annually

Every other weekend offers a 3-day break

Willingness to work overtime, across any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations

Our facility operates 24/7

Compensation:
$21.28 per hour, which includes a $1.00 per hour rotation schedule differential

Daily Responsibilities:
Producing high-quality food products enjoyed by consumers worldwide

Utilizing advanced technology in a state-of-the-art facility

Collaborating with skilled colleagues in a culture that promotes learning

Challenging yourself to complete tasks accurately while acquiring valuable skills for future opportunities

Ensuring safe forklift operation within production, packaging, and warehouse settings

Preparing and loading products for shipment according to customer specifications

Managing the storage of raw materials, ingredients, finished products, and miscellaneous supplies

Receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming materials and supplies

Maintaining sanitation standards in storage areas and docks

Conducting necessary quality checks

Completing required documentation promptly and accurately

Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment

Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance

Assisting in the training of new team members

Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Proficient in English

At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts preferred

Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with WMS preferred

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Capable of performing physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting

Ability to work at heights using stairs, ladders, or lifts

Willingness to wear protective gear as required

Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, and dusty settings

Willingness to work around high-speed industrial machinery

Ability to work with potential allergens in a food production environment.
