PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct thorough cleaning of overhead structures, lighting fixtures, pathways, ledges, beams, perimeters, and storage racks.

· Operate and maintain the powered floor scrubbing machine according to the established cleaning schedule.

· Regularly empty and sanitize waste containers throughout the warehouse.

· Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse signage, fire safety equipment, drop stations, and visibility mirrors.

· Perform cleaning on warehouse machinery, stretch wrappers, loading docks, and associated equipment as per the cleaning timetable.

· Paint and maintain floor markings and wall surfaces as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must possess the ability to operate a forklift and meet the required certification standards.
  • Previous experience in sanitation and/or forklift operation is preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Receive on-the-job training for the operation of the power scrubber, handling of cleaning chemicals, and forklift use.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Standing for extended periods to complete tasks.

· Walking throughout the facility.

· Climbing to access various areas, including the parts department, using a ladder.

· Kneeling for low-level work activities.

· Crawling to access areas beneath equipment.

· Squatting and bending to retrieve tools or components.

· Twisting to execute job functions.

· Pinching and grasping to utilize tools effectively.

· Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
