Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and test engineering designs for large electronic and mechanical signs, ensuring high-quality production and efficient assembly processes.
  • Gather hardware, wire PCBAs and components together, build, load software components, test the system, and document/report results.
  • Design and develop LED and motor-controlled message-type signage for highways and gas stations, utilizing expertise in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and serial communication protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in basic Linux command line usage, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and serial communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C).
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic failures using lab equipment.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, with experience in creating test plans, technical reports, and validating products against standards documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with the team.
