The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Abbott. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and direction in the development and support of client area application systems and programming requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective application solutions.
- Lead contractual resources and coordinate with external partners and suppliers.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops for project scoping and estimation.
- Execute complex or specialized projects, including global projects.
- Adapt and innovate solutions to meet business needs.
What You'll Work On:
- Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
- Provide technical configuration, code review, and solution testing for SAP MFG and QM modules.
- Lead technical staff to develop, test, and implement SAP solutions improvements.
- Conduct research and provide technical advice on new technologies and their business impact.
- Review, validate, and enhance design, conduct performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10 years' experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 6+ years' experience in full life cycle of SAP projects.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and quality business processes.
- Experience with implementing large ERP SAP programs for MFG and QM modules.
