About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Foods Group, LLC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior technicians with duties such as servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on mechanical principles.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery, including tasks such as greasing, changing bearings, and replacing worn parts, to ensure machinery runs at optimal levels and meets daily production demands.
  • Conduct conveyor belt repair and replacement as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is turned off and locked out/tagged out when not in use.
  • Complete required paperwork, including maintenance logs and repair records.
  • Notify supervisors of any malfunctions or repairs required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures, including warm, hot, humid, cold, and wet conditions, and at varied heights, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to successfully complete training in safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and food defense.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior maintenance experience.
  • Prior production experience.
  • Work history in the last 12 months.
