Job Summary:

Apogee Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support the NC3 Enterprise Center at US Strategic Command. The ideal candidate will have experience in mission engineering, systems integration, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mission engineering studies to identify new or enhanced capabilities and provide impacts of performance levels on NC3 system of systems.
  • Document the action of studies, recommend, and coordinate with study participants, set up and facilitate meetings, define timelines, and deliverables.
  • Produce engineering analysis reports that recommend logical next steps of action based on documented NC3 gaps, studies, roadmaps, plans, and solution sets.
  • Provide system engineering expertise to evaluate and ensure upgrades, integration, test, and transformation efforts of National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) systems and sub-components are executed as planned.
  • Assess the NLCC systems and sub-component's ability to meet mission requirements and operate as designed.
  • Advise and assist the Government in defining NC3 Enterprise Figures of Merit (FOM) targets for model-based systems engineering and mission engineering studies, including Measures of Effectiveness & Performance (MOE and MOPs), as well as other relevant performance criteria targeting measurement at the System of Systems level.
  • Support the development of a transition plan for the implementation of mission engineering study recommendations and scope, and track execution of specified transition projects that are successfully defended and resourced.

Requirements:

  • 11 years of relevant experience with 2+ years' experience performing analytical problem-solving on Information Technology (IT) workflow, organization, and planning.
  • Ability to work well within a team and execute tasks independently.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • NC3 experience is desired.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering, or similar technical field with 5+ years' relevant systems engineering experience and 2+ years' experience performing analytical problem-solving on Information Technology (IT) workflow, organization, and planning.

Apogee Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

Base pay for this position ranges from $79,000 to $119,000 across the U.S. There is a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
