We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a 13-week in-person position that offers a unique opportunity to work with patients and improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state license or certification, and experience working in a medical setting. They will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and reimbursement requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for CCC.
- Experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
