Position Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you possess the expertise to establish cloud environments and manage computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—essentially, mastering the cloud. We are seeking a dedicated DevOps infrastructure specialist to assist our clients in modernizing their IT frameworks and tackling their most demanding missions.

In your role at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers to oversee server configurations for contemporary cloud solutions. You will enhance your capabilities within a DevOps framework, facilitating the establishment or provisioning of virtual machines or networks while leveraging cloud service providers to advance our clients' significant objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in constructing secure Cloud Infrastructure Solutions
  • Proficiency in Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration automation, Docker, and Kubernetes development
  • Strong knowledge of scripting, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) automation, and application deployment automation
  • Possession of Top Secret clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • DoD CompTIA 8570 level 1 Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mission-critical applications and infrastructure
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate complex solutions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • AWS Certification

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, individual education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this role is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
