Job Overview

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will provide expert guidance and support to the development teams in the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). This role requires a comprehensive understanding of information assurance (IA) principles, practices, and procedures, ensuring adherence to established policies and standards set forth by relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and advise development teams on RMF processes to effectively manage security risks.
  • Review technical documentation to verify compliance with security regulations.
  • Recommend and implement security monitoring solutions to fulfill IA requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management and cybersecurity teams to support, test, and resolve IA-related issues.
  • Design and develop security procedures and solutions tailored to the operational environment.

Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Assurance or Information Security System Engineering is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 8-12 years of experience within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community is essential.

Certifications:

Mandatory Certification: Security+ CE. Additional certifications such as CISSP or CCNA are preferred but not required.

Security Clearance:

This position necessitates a TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
