Automation Systems Specialist

SMS Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer – Level 2 Systems to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and supporting engineering solutions for implementing and modernizing new software-intensive Level 2 automation systems for metallurgical plants and flat rolling mills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation solutions for Level 2 systems
- Implement and test automation systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems with existing infrastructure
- Provide technical support and maintenance for automation systems
Requirements:
- Strong background in automation engineering and software development
- Experience with Level 2 automation systems and metallurgical plants
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
