Job Overview:
Hera Technologies, LLC is in search of a dedicated Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic and collaborative setting. The successful candidate will take charge of key responsibilities associated with this role, along with any additional tasks as assigned.


Classification:
FLSA Status: Hourly Nonexempt
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Compensation:
$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Reports to: Composites Manager
Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain organized inventory, ensuring items are labeled and tracked, including those with shelf-life considerations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to address issues related to material receipt, distribution, and quality.
  • Review job closures to identify any operations that require approval before proceeding.
  • Monitor job progress and physical locations in real-time, addressing scheduling conflicts to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure production supplies are adequately stocked and communicate restocking needs to purchasing associates.
  • Track and facilitate the movement of parts through various production stages to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee the physical handling of parts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies to support production and supply planning.
  • Develop reports to communicate needs and constraints for internal and customer purposes.
  • Support logistics processes through effective workflow staging.
  • Manage material certifications to prevent the use of uncertified materials.
  • Assist production cells with work order management as necessary.

Additional Duties:

The responsibilities outlined above are intended to provide a general overview of the role. Management retains the right to modify, add, or remove duties as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling or expediting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience with scanning technologies (RF scanners, handheld devices).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:
The role requires working in an open environment with limited temperature control. The position involves standing for extended periods and adhering to strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear. The atmosphere is professional, fostering accountability and teamwork.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted and perform various physical activities such as lifting, standing, and walking for a significant portion of the shift. Vision requirements include near and distant vision, color perception, and depth perception.
Clearances:
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and may be required to undergo a background check and pre-employment physical examination, including drug testing.
