Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Federal Express Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical power transmission and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing your knowledge of basic engineering formulas and principles.
  • Utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve prescribed data, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and outside vendors to convey technical data and needs, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance/electrical/mechanical trade or related certificates preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/Controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills required.
  • Related military experience will be considered; in lieu of experience, an associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance/electrical/mechanical trade or related certificates may be considered equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pay Transparency: $1,000 sign on bonus.
  • Additional Details: Industrial Maintenance Tech: Hours: Tues - Sat 10 pm - 6:30 am.
