Position Overview

Eastern Metal Framing of New Jersey is seeking a dedicated and dependable Shipping Coordinator to enhance our Logistics Department. This role offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization. We value candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, and a readiness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the shipping and verification processes for both steel and non-steel products.
  • Conduct forklift operations as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork and data entry tasks.

Work Schedule: 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Compensation: Includes a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inventory shipping is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated integrity, strong character, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Familiarity with computers and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong foundational math skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to operate a forklift after receiving appropriate training.
  • Ability to remain on feet and lift weights as necessary.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status is required.
