JOB PURPOSE:

The primary objective of this role is to conduct maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal operational performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Conduct routine maintenance on all vehicles, equipment, and facilities according to established schedules and protocols (25%).
2. Perform thorough inspections of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to identify any defects (20%).
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults or malfunctions using diagnostic tools and aids to determine necessary repairs (20%).
4. Identify and procure materials and parts essential for repairing vehicles, equipment, and facilities (15%).
5. Utilize cranes, hoisting apparatus, and powered vehicles to hoist, transport, and position equipment as needed (10%).
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5%).
7. Undertake additional duties as assigned (5%).

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members of varying skill levels.
- Proficient in welding, cutting, and rigging techniques.
- Competent in operating fabrication and hoisting equipment.
- Capable of working from elevated positions in diverse weather conditions.
- Skilled in operating all equipment on site.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and focus on customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills and effective time management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and UltiPro.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Exposure to hazardous chemicals and substances.
- Work in dusty environments with excessive noise and fumes.
- Ability to operate in extreme temperatures and around moving equipment.
- Willingness to work after hours or weekends as part of an on-call schedule.
