About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Sewell Family of Companies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and diagnose vehicle issues to determine the necessary repairs
  • Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure seamless repair processes
  • Provide accurate labor time estimates and monitor repair time to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete documentation for client repairs and assist in mentoring technician trainees
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
  • Factory certifications preferred
  • GM certifications or experience preferred
  • Dealership or automotive repair experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • State Inspection license is a plus
  • Completion of drug screening and background screening
  • Provide all government I-9 requirements
