Job Summary

Cincinnati State is seeking a highly skilled Major Gifts Officer to join our Institutional Advancement team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to increase support for Cincinnati State's mission.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and community leaders.
  • Identify and pursue major gift opportunities, including seven-figure commitments.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Institutional Advancement and Foundation Executive Director to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Manage and maintain engagement with a list of current major donors, stewarding them into major gift donors and bringing new major gift donors to support the College.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four (4) years of development experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in collaborative partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability for teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher Education experience.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive CFRE.
