Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Expert
Location: United States-Texas-Houston
Oxy, an international energy company, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security Operations team, you will be responsible for conducting cyber security investigations, performing incident triage, containment, and remediation, and analyzing logs and other related data to identify signs of a breach or security incident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cyber security investigations and analyze logs and other related data to identify signs of a breach or security incident.
- Perform incident triage, containment, and remediation, and work closely with SIEM and EDR SMEs to improve monitoring and detection.
- Operate security tooling, including SIEM, EDR, and Email Security, and analyze data to identify security threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Cyber Security with 1 or more years in the Security Operations discipline.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills, and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Desired Qualifications:
- CISSP, GCTI, or other cyber security related certification.
- Cloud security knowledge and experience.
- Relevant industry experience.
