About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department's daily operations, ensuring a positive employee experience, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process, including tracking performance reviews, guiding managers on evaluations, and offering support on employee development plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal and state labor laws to ensure compliance in all HR practices, assist in developing, communicating, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality, generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support management in decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as a Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Additional Information

This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to live within a commutable distance to Phoenix, AZ. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and this role requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs, typically between 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
