Prior experience in a bakery is beneficial but not mandatory.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Part-time Frosting Specialists will work 15-20 hours weekly, with shifts typically scheduled in the morning (8:30 AM - 3 PM). Bakery operating hours are Monday-Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to proprietary frosting recipes and application techniques while meeting productivity standards.
  • Utilize measuring tools, commercial mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes effectively.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders based on the schedule and frost cakes for walk-in customers accordingly.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the display case, ensuring proper levels are upheld.
  • Follow packaging, labeling, and storage protocols for frosted cakes, including product rotation standards.
  • Monitor frosting supply inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary.
  • Assess baked and frosted cakes to ensure quality standards are met and report any issues to management.
  • Clean and sanitize the workstation, ensuring all frosting supplies are ready for the next shift.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
