Previous experience in a bakery is advantageous but not mandatory.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Part-time Cake Decorators will typically work 15-20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Sunday. Morning shifts generally run from 8:30 AM to 3 PM. Our bakery operates Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to proprietary frosting recipes and application techniques with accuracy while meeting productivity targets.
  • Utilize measuring tools, commercial mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes effectively.
  • Prioritize cake orders based on schedules and frost cakes for walk-in customers as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the display case, ensuring proper inventory levels.
  • Follow packaging, labeling, and storage protocols for frosted cakes, including product rotation standards.
  • Monitor frosting supply inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary.
  • Assess baked and frosted cakes to ensure quality standards are met and report any issues to management.
  • Keep the workstation clean, sanitized, and stocked, preparing for the next shift as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
