Position Overview

The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves working with advanced MRI technology to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Execute comprehensive MRI scans and diagnostic assessments.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
  • Equipment Management: Assist in the calibration and quality assurance of MRI equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Radiologists to facilitate complex imaging procedures.
  • Patient Interaction: Clearly explain procedures to patients and address any inquiries.
  • Contrast Administration: Administer radiographic contrast as per physician directives and departmental protocols.
Qualifications
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • Current CPR certification is required within the initial 90 days of employment.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential.
