Job Title: MRI Technologist

INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our MRI team, providing exceptional care to patients who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex and technical imaging procedures, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all body imaging and diagnostic procedures involved in MRI, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
  • Assist in equipment calibration and quality control procedures, maintaining the highest standards of imaging quality.
  • Position and transfer patients safely and efficiently, considering their physical requirements and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists on in-depth procedures, providing expert technical support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Provide radiology support in all imaging modalities, ensuring seamless workflow and patient care.
  • Administer radiographic contrast according to physician requests and departmental policies.
  • Complete initial IV setup and prep for IV insertion, ensuring proper aseptic technique and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification by the ARRT required within 12 months of hire.
  • Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
