LPN - Women's Health Nurse - OU Health Physicians Tulsa

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at OU Health Physicians Tulsa, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with OBGYN physicians to deliver comprehensive medical care, assisting in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient intake, administering medications, and providing patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient intake, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Assist with in-office procedures as needed.
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the State of Oklahoma.
- HS/GED and graduate of an approved Practical Nurse training program.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and patients.
