Position Overview

As an Event Bartender, you will play a vital role in our team, delivering exceptional hospitality. We seek individuals who are energetic, eager to develop in the hospitality sector, and genuinely care about their colleagues. Event Bartenders are responsible for creating positive guest experiences by serving high-quality beverages in a friendly and safe manner. Additionally, they may assist with serving and attending to tables, ensuring our guests enjoy outstanding dining and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Comply with laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Engage effectively with guests and assist with their beverage selections.
  • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Process orders efficiently.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area, and prepare and stock the bar for service.
  • Become proficient in our specialty cocktails and demonstrate enthusiasm for our offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Bartender in an event-focused venue.
  • Passion for teamwork, high-quality food and beverages, and exceptional hospitality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and organizational capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a structured and systematic setting.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good judgment and an adaptable mindset.
  • Quickly learn the event menu and show enthusiasm for our offerings.
  • Possess all necessary food and alcohol certifications as required by the location.

Reports to: Catering Operations Manager

Department: Front of House Operations

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of lifting trays weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens such as peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.
  • Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with team members and guests.
