Join Our Team as a Staff Engineer

Kennedy Jenks is a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm that has been at the forefront of innovation and sustainability since 1919. We are seeking a talented Staff Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering team, working on challenging projects in the mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on complex projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations.
  • Deliver industrial engineering design and construction services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.
  • Provide engineering services during construction of projects, including industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field.
  • 0-5 years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Prior experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water/mass balances, or process design is preferred.
  • Project development oversight and project management skills, including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities.

  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
