Licensed Practical Nurse for Senior Care

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our senior residents at Penick Village. As a hands-on caregiver, you will directly assist residents with their daily care requirements while supervising nursing assistants to uphold a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities of Elder Assistants and Medication Technicians, ensuring compliance with current regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to written policies and procedures governing nursing services.
- Collaborate with other resident services to maintain a comprehensive care regimen for each resident.
- Conduct administrative tasks including medical documentation, charting, and reporting as necessary.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives within the nursing service department.
- Assist in the development and updating of residents' discharge plans.
- Participate in inspections conducted by authorized agencies.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians, adhering to facility protocols.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse license and CPR certification (or the ability to obtain it within 60 days). Experience in senior care is preferred.
