Bilingual Insurance Agent Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Insurance Agent to join our team at the Government Employees Insurance Company. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a crucial role in helping customers meet their insurance needs and providing them with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Analyze clients' current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes to ensure they have the right coverage.
- Explain policy specifics to clients in a clear and concise manner, enabling them to make informed decisions about their purchases.
- Handle policy renewals, cancellations, and changes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow up with clients after initial meetings or conversations to ensure their needs are met and provide ongoing support.
- Approach clients via phone and direct mail to inquire about their insurance situations and future needs, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper records of client interactions and policy information.
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs to stay current on industry developments and best practices in sales and customer service.
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong motivation for sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Pleasant telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems, including CRM and insurance policy management systems.
