Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of equipment, processing areas, and support areas, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
- Sanitation and Disinfecting: Ensure all areas, including restrooms and break rooms, are properly sanitized and disinfected to maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Supply Management: Refill supplies as needed and maintain inventory reports and logs to ensure efficient operations.
- Visitor Preparation: Ensure the laboratory is visitor-ready each day, including maintaining a clean and organized appearance.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient utilization of time and resources, and communicate effectively to address any maintenance concerns or issues.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical Demands: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other communications/computer components; potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens; noise level varies from quiet to loud; temperature varies from hot to cold; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
