Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Mercadien Consulting LLC. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production team and ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule production team(s) and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist Project Manager in identifying resources for current and prospective future engagements
  • Proactively identify solutions to scheduling challenges and other team operational issues
  • Identify potential process efficiencies and opportunities to streamline processes
  • Prepare for and participate in weekly team debrief meetings and weekly reports
  • Provide timely updates to team and Project Manager
  • Raise and resolve issues quickly and identify solutions to prevent reoccurrences
  • Maintain data in engagement management software
  • Provide onboarding support for client engagements
  • Maintain budget
  • Assist the project management team with any overflow of work as needed
  • Assist production team with front of file tasks and identify other tasks to reassign from production team to project coordinator team, gains approval by project management leadership
  • Create and monitor leverage model and production dashboards
  • Monitor client realization, budget, and production objectives
  • Assist the production team with client deliverables
  • Oversee administrative function and follow up with admin staff on open items as needed
  • Complete ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Above average computer skills, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Good troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to make good decisions quickly and provide alternate solutions to solve problems or address unanticipated events
  • Must be well organized and systematic in working
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per work, between the professional hours of 9am and 5pm
