About the Role

  • The Cleaning Services Specialist at Millennia Housing Management will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties' public areas, common spaces, exteriors, vacant units, model units, floors, and trash removal.">
  • This role involves assisting with litter pick-up, sidewalk cleaning, snow removal, and various maintenance and cleaning duties.">

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Read and execute work orders and requests in a timely, thorough, and efficient manner.">
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks and functions.">
  • Perform necessary inspections of exteriors, units, equipment, and systems to determine cleaning needs.">
  • Conduct regular inspections of grounds, parking, and fields to identify areas requiring attention.">
  • Perform various groundskeeping functions.">
  • Document work, cleaning, and improvements performed.">
  • Inventory, manage, and maintain cleaning products, equipment, materials, and other supplies owned by the property or management company.">
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.">
  • Detect issues, replace or repair parts, test, adjust, and report these and any unusual situations to proper supervision.">
  • Perform various cleaning tasks.">
  • Apply chemicals.">
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform duties.">
  • Operate and adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times. Maintain clean and organized work areas.">
  • Maintain the required uniform and ensure a professional appearance and courteous attitude at all times.">
  • Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated.">
  • This position requires regular and predictable attendance as an essential function.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A high school education or equivalent is required.">
  • One year of experience in maintenance, custodial, or groundskeeping roles is preferred.">
  • The ability to read English sufficiently to understand written work orders and instructions is required.">
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and repair defective system components are necessary.">
  • The willingness and ability to travel are essential. Travel commitments typically range from 1-3 days maximum but may occur weekly.">
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, are critical.">
  • Superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities are required.">
  • The ability to analyze complex problems, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions in all situations is essential.">
  • Able to influence effectively and gain support for new ideas and approaches across multiple stakeholders with varying agendas and shifting priorities.">
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations is necessary.">
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.">
