UPMC is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we're seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Sanitation Associate. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
Job SummaryIn this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our hospital facilities. This includes operating departmental equipment, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and performing other tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Operate departmental equipment, including vacuums and floor cleaners
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including sinks and toilets
- Perform other tasks as needed, such as restocking supplies and assisting with special events
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
