Key Responsibilities:
  • Treating a Diverse Range of Mental Health Conditions: You'll work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions and developing tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborative Treatment Planning: You'll work closely with patients and their families to develop and coordinate treatment programs, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Conducting Therapy Sessions: You'll conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions, adhering to ethical and medical necessity guidelines.
  • Developing Psycho-Educational Groups: You'll have the opportunity to develop and lead time-limited psycho-educational groups or ongoing therapy groups, promoting patient engagement and empowerment.
  • Providing Crisis Support: You'll conduct telephone screenings for patients in crisis and provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis, ensuring timely support and intervention.
  • Collaborative Care Coordination: You'll work closely with other medical staff to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment, ensuring seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: You must be fully licensed as a PhD or PsyD in Washington State by the time of hire.
  • Experience: You'll need individual therapy experience in an outpatient setting, as well as training and experience in brief therapy.
  • Diagnostic and Treatment Skills: You must be able to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
