Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, optimizing processes, and ensuring quality assurance in our instrument manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using Solidworks and associated tools
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Ensure quality assurance by implementing and maintaining quality systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at concept phase
  • Investigate complex issues and perform root cause analysis using Six Sigma tools
  • Develop custom automation to support improvement projects
  • Perform requirement analysis to capture user needs and pursue DMAIC projects to implement improvements
  • Employ data analytics to monitor statistical process control
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or closely related field
  • 1 year of academic or industry experience as a Process, Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Production Engineer
  • At least 6 months of experience with each of the following: process engineering, lean manufacturing, AutoCAD and ProE modeling software, instrument manufacturing, and U.S. FDA quality system regulations
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $79,320 to $107,800 per year, a discretionary annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of telecommuting up to 1 day a week.
