Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret work orders to ascertain product specifications and material needs.
  • Examine blueprints or other directives to establish task sequences.
  • Physically lift, transport, and arrange materials in preparation for assembly.
  • Align, fit, and weld components to create complete units utilizing MIG welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Refine surfaces or edges using hand files and portable grinders.
  • Fulfill physical demands as outlined below.
Position Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience welding light gauge steel with MIG welding equipment.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screening.
Essential Skills & Abilities
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in mathematical concepts, including fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to accurately use and interpret measuring tapes and rulers.
  • Competence in safely operating power and hand tools.
  • Capability to regularly lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Experience in quality control analysis.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in a warehouse setting.
  • Position requires constant standing at a workbench.
  • Frequent movement throughout the warehouse is necessary.
  • Regular lifting, carrying, or dragging of items up to 100 pounds.
  • Constant auditory awareness is required.
  • Occasional fine finger manipulation is needed.
  • Frequent operation of hand controls.
  • Regular use of near vision, far vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Frequent reaching at or below shoulder level and overhead.
  • Regular bending or stooping.
  • Moderate vibratory tasks are performed frequently.
  • Typical noise levels are moderate, consistent with a warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to atmospheric conditions such as paint fumes and dust is common.
  • Frequent proximity to moving mechanical components.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required as necessary.
