We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at AdientOne Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting procedures, including reconciliations, customer account maintenance, and transaction processing.

**Job Summary**

This is a key role that requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have experience with financial software systems and be able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Accounting Specialist will perform the following tasks:

  • Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
  • Maintain customer accounts and perform the billing process.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
  • Process transactions such as disbursements, expense vouchers, cash receipts, etc.
  • Enter data into financial system.
  • Prepare reports to validate transactions.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
