Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist triage nurses in following physician orders in an administrative capacity.
  • Ensure workflow is smooth and handled in an expedient manner.
  • Work as a team with others in the triage department and among different locations.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Three to seven years related experience.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to recognize and analyze problems.
  • Able to determine and prioritize the urgency of medical problems.
  • Able to communicate clearly with patients over the telephone and in person.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possesses a preference for dealing with people who are ill and need help.
  • Displays an outgoing, warm, and helpful attitude.
  • Possesses the tact to deal effectively with patients, guests, co-workers, and physicians.
