As a Medical Laboratory Technician 2 in the Customer Support role at VUMC, you will be tasked with managing clinical and anatomical laboratory inquiries via telephone. Your expertise in laboratory processes combined with exceptional customer service skills will enable you to provide prompt and accurate assistance to callers, utilizing various software applications to monitor and resolve inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in enhancing the operations of the Laboratory Contact Center.
- Exhibit proficiency in the use of the Contact Center ACD phone system and associated software.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position at Vanderbilt Laboratory Services, Customer Support Center, operating on the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday (10pm-6:30pm CST) with weekend and holiday rotations every third shift. Candidates will be considered for certification within 120 days.

- LIC-Medical Laboratory Act certification in Tennessee
