Job Summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and stat clinical pathology testing, reporting results in a timely manner, and utilizing basic problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and reliable clinical outcomes.

Technical Capabilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Demonstrate proficiency of diagnostic testing in practical applications.

Position Qualifications
  • Certifications: Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • Work Experience: Relevant work experience, preferably in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Education: Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
